As of February 2020, Korean Air operate following 7 aircrafts wearing special liveries: Children’s Drawing Contest Livery, SuperM Livery, Sky 200th Korean Air’s Boeing Aircraft Livery & SkyTeam Livery.
About: In 2019, 11th Korean Air Future Artist Olympiad took place. Elementary school students from all around the world can participate in this drawing contest. Like every year, the prize-winning artwork was wrapped on aircraft, this time on B747-8 (HL7630).
Where to catch: Except of Seoul/Incheon airport, this stunning livery can be seen especially in following destinations: Atlanta, Auckland, Honolulu, Kuala Lumpur, New York, Singapore and Taipei; during summer season also in Europe (Frankfurt, London, Prague, Rome).
About: In November 2019, Korean Air introduced new safety video which is performed by a new established Korean pop group SuperM. Shortly after this event, new special decal on B777-300ER (HL8010) was unveiled.
Where to catch: Except of Seoul/Incheon airport, this special livery can be seen for example in following destinations: Bangkok, Frankfurt, Ho Chi Minh City, London, Rome, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington.
About: In May 2019, Korean Air took delivery of their 200th Boeing aircraft. This jubilee B777-300ER aircraft (HL8346) carries a special sticker to remind that milestone.
Where to catch: Except of Seoul/Incheon airport, this special livery can be seen for example in following destinations: Bangkok, Beijing, Chicago, Dallas, Frankfurt, Ho Chi Minh City, London, Rome, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington.
About: Korean Air is the founding member of SkyTeam. Since 2009, each member airline of this alliance is commited to repaint at least one aircraft into the common silver livery. Currently, four Korean Air’s aircrafts carry that special decal.
